under the cover - enjoy the silence

Blogging away in LA is back, and this time I'm looking at the newest cover variation of the Depeche Mode classic tune Enjoy the Silence by hot band Division Day. In my opinion they have managed to create a unique sound as an ode to an aforementioned classic.Back in 1998, the alternative rock band Failure released their cover as part of the Depeche Mode tribute compilation For The Masses. In 2004, Enjoy the Silence was re-released as a single for the Depeche Mode remix project Remixes 81 - 04, and was titled Enjoy the Silence (Reinterpreted) or, more simply Enjoy the Silence 04.
