Each selection on this stunning five track EP resembles a small symphony of progressive movements, sonic dynamics, and intricate melody structures. Currently on tour with STS9, St. Andrew has a slew of his own shows coming up including a headlining slot for the 1320 Records showcase tonight, January 27th, at Low End Theory in Los Angeles. I had to dust off the old keyboard for this one, but I have two tracks that are too good not to share. The first is the latest remix by The Twelves. A beautiful, laidback, airy disco track; exactly what you would expect from your favorite Brazilians. Honestly I don’t know much about Noah And The Whale but this track makes me want to learn more.

Next up, our friend St. Andrew (of Yelle remix contest winner fame) just released a 5 track EP which is truly great stuff. Experimental with flashes of electro and rnb, definitely a unique sound. Here’s our favorite of the bunch, “Cosmic Terror” (which also happens to be the name of the EP).
