Polaroids From the Web"The blue skies are coming" edition- Esce il 4 settembre per l'etichetta bolognese Unhip Records Il fuoco, nuovo album dei Giardini di Mirò nato dallo spettacolo di sonorizzazioni dell'omonimo film di Giovanni Pastrone del 1915, ma intanto lo si può già ascoltare in anteprima integrale su Rolling Stone.- Un album che invece non riusciremo mai a sentire sembra essere quello dei Radio Dept.: ulteriore posticipo della data di uscita, ora prevista per febbraio 2010.- Avevamo parlato dei Soft Pack a inizio anno, ora la band sta ultimando il debutto su Kemado Records e ha un nuovo sito. Per chi vuole un altro video con le onde e pensa ancora alle spiagge da poco abbandonate, ecco la spumeggiante Down On Loving in versione unplugged.- Inkiostro, che è meno pigro di me, ha già finito La musica liberata di Luca Castelli e lo consiglia. A polaroid ne parleremo tra qualche settimana, quando riprenderanno le trasmissioni.- Invece Emmebi segnala la nuova uscita di Nick Hornby, Juliet, Naked. Probabile che poi cambierò idea, ma leggendo un paio di articoli e post in giro mi sembra di percepire già un'aria di "revival di noi stessi", e un po' mi preoccupo.- Il set di polaroid scattate all'ultimo Here I Stay Festival è stellare! Next up, our friend St. Andrew (of Yelle remix contest winner fame) just released a 5 track EP which is truly great stuff. Experimental with flashes of electro and rnb, definitely a unique sound. Here’s our favorite of the bunch, “Cosmic Terror” (which also happens to be the name of the EP).
