You know how some people djs keep playing the same tunes over and over again, everytime you seem them? It’s like that a lot here anyway. I guess it’s cuz they like the tracks so much that they want you to share the love for the artists of yesterday. What I’m trying to say is, I really like synthesized piano and strings and SIDECHAINS puts those elements together so well in this classic BLUE PEARL track. It’s a paradox really, Sidechains makes an old track sound old and new all at the same time.

A meager nineteen years since its initial release (and subsequent rise to the Top 5 on both the UK and US dance charts), consistently impressive revisionist Sidechains gives this track by Blue Pearl the complete rejuvenation, from the foundation to the attic, adding whirs and meltdowns all over the mix, keeping Durga McBroom's intense vocal line intact and shifting the beat up a bit like only he can. The drop out at the four minute mark is unreal too. There's nothing wrong with keeping a vintage club track vintage, and Sidechains comes correct with his genius-level production to honor that.
