Awwwww shit yo, its Friday and its time to loot the inbox like they did in New Orleans before it was wiped off the face of the Earth. So now I finally have a few free minutes to put up some new tracks for you all, there’s literally about 50 on my desktop that I’ve been wanting to post, but for now I’ll just share the last few that really stood out.
First up, check out this track by The Sterehoes. I know, the name is a bit odd and at a glance is almost identical to The Stereoheroes. This track also does sound like it samples ALOT from Poney Poney’s “Cross The Fader“, but we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one and hopefully there are a few more like “May 68” in the near future to put our minds at ease.
The Sterehoes - May 68
Next up, check out a little peice of Swedish Ghettotech from Basutbudet. This has been out for awhile now, but I recently rediscovered it and was glad that I did. I love the DIY feel on all Markus’ tracks.
Basutbudet - Glider In Pa Klubb (Skruv GCP)
Recently, the long awaited Van She album, “Ze Vemixes“, which consists of all Van She Tech remixes of Van She originals, finally dropped worldwide. The rework of “Techno Music” is definitely one of my favorites, reminds me of the ghosts of banger past, back when Van She Tech pumped out amazing remix after remix:

And finally, one last track bfeore I pass out from lack of sleep, here is Bogdan Irkuk’s remix of Sally Shapiro’s “Miracle“. I love everything about Sally’s soothing voice and the 8+ minute backing track that Irkuk has set it to is the perfect landscape, much better than the original in my opinion (although it sitll doesn’t match up to this one we posted before).

Swedish italo-disco dreamer Sally Shapiro's My Guilty Pleasure, the followup to Disco Romance, is out this fall. When we debuted the first single "Miracle" a ways back we asked Shapiro if a miracle relationship ended could there be another miracle that might start it up again:We're not told that ... But not a high chance I would guess. It's a song about the nostalgia you can feel over a lost relationship. Maybe it really felt like a miracle when it was going on, at least for you. Or maybe you just remember the relationship as better than it actually was. We're still left guessing in this extended remix Bulgarian producer Bogdan Irkük (aka BULGARI), but he's removed a bit of the stormy sound effects, and doubled the length of our last goodbye, which somehow makes it all seem more hopeful.Continue reading New Sally Shapiro - "Miracle (Bogdan Irkük Remix)"...

første single fra franske joakim er ude nu. ikke lige, hvad jeg havde forventet efter hans mere disko-orienterede remixalbum, og måske lidt for ‘electro’ til mig. b-siden derfra er til gengæld lidt mere giorgio moroder møder lindstrøms ‘where you i go to’-agtig, og interessant på den nørdede måde. opfølgeren til hans succesfulde andetalbum fra 2007, ‘monsters & silly songs’, kommer til at hedde ‘milky ways’ og udkommer d. 15 september på k7. det vil efter sigende byde på bl.a. electro-pop, kraut rock og new wave, hvilket jo ikke lyder helt værst.
Watermelon Bubblicious - Joakim
The Girl And The Robot (feat.

Lizard in a Woman’s Skin (1971)
I recently watched “Lizard in a Woman’s Skin,” which was possibly one of the most surrealistic and psychedelic italian films to have ever been produced in the early seventies. The film involved murder, freudian analysis, soft lesbian dream sex, and acid-like dream sequences. I imagine if Sally Shapiro and Bogdan Irkuk made an album together it would be something along the lines of a psychedelic italian film about the confusing line between dreams and reality. Bogdan Irkuk can honestly do no wrong in his ethereal italo melodies. I was so pleased when this was emailed over to us since my itunes has been totally consumed by Irkuk’s other tracks recently. He’s done a fabulous job of making Shapiro’s slightly icey love ballad more unnerving and desperate. Though the track has a feeling of quiet panic it still holds onto the original’s romantic longing. Sally Shapiro’s 12inch “Miracle” is being released on Permanent Vacation records online Friday and on vinyl Monday. Mwah. <3
